Training for Independence Programme
ACC's Training for Independence services focus on restoring a client's independence and their ability to participate in their community to the maximum degree possible. This is accomplished through education, support, training and rehabilitation of clients in their own home, community or their work place. A client may have one therapist visiting them or they may have a team.
Training for Independence Advisory Service - Short term
ACC's Training for Independence Advisory Service Short Term provides timely advice, education or support, rehabilitation and oversight services to clients in their own chosen environment. This will enable the client to restore and/ or maintain their health and ability to participate in their wider community.
Training for Independence Wellbeing Advisory Service
The Training for Independence Wellbeing Advisory Service is a service for clients who have a Serious Injury or clients who have a complex injury who require intermittent oversight or monitoring/supervision by a Rehabilitation Professional over an extended period of time. This ensures the client's function and skills are maintained, and will also prevent secondary injury.
